Furlan Marri Jungle Sector Limited Edition No. 115/150 (Ref. 20202)

Created as a special commemorative edition for Watches of Switzerland’s 60th anniversary, the Furlan Marri Jungle Sector is one of the more distinctive variations of the brand’s early automatic Sector collection. Limited to only 150 pieces, it takes the vintage-inspired architecture that established Furlan Marri’s design language and gives it a particularly rich green-and-gold treatment.

The centrepiece is its finely textured green sector dial, arranged around a classical multi-track layout inspired by mid-century scientific and sector watches. Rose-gold-plated hands and matching dial details provide a warm contrast against the deep green surface, while Roman numerals at the cardinal positions and the finely graduated outer minutes track reinforce the deliberately vintage character of the design.

The watch is housed in a 37.5mm stainless-steel case, a restrained proportion that works especially well with the period-inspired dial. The sculpted lugs, polished surfaces and slim bezel give the case considerably more presence than its dimensions suggest, while a sapphire crystal protects the dial. Case thickness is approximately 10.5mm, with water resistance rated to 50 metres.

Visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback is the Swiss-made La Joux-Perret G100 automatic calibre. The movement operates at 4 Hz and provides approximately 68 hours of power reserve, making the Jungle Sector substantially more than a purely aesthetic vintage homage. The movement is decorated and visible beneath a signed rotor, while the surrounding caseback carries the edition engraving.

This particular example is individually numbered 115/150, with the limited-edition designation clearly engraved on the caseback.

The watch is paired with its original textured green leather strap, which complements the dial particularly well, and the full presentation also includes the additional original beige leather strap. Furlan Marri originally supplied the Jungle Sector with both a curved green strap and a straight beige strap.

Condition is exceptional. Although technically pre-owned, this example presents virtually as new, with no meaningful signs of wear apparent from normal inspection. 

It is accompanied by its complete original set, including the Furlan Marri presentation case, outer box, additional strap, documentation and stamped guarantee, adding considerably to the desirability of an already scarce 150-piece edition.
