CIGA Design Mechanical Watch – J Series (Silver)

This award-winning CIGA Design Mechanical Watch from the J Series showcases the brand’s signature approach to contemporary, design-led watchmaking. The watch is defined by its fully skeletonized dial, where radiating linear indices form a circular frame around the exposed mechanical movement, allowing the gears and balance to remain visible at the center. Slim baton hands and a fine seconds hand provide a minimalist time display without interrupting the architectural symmetry of the dial.

The watch is housed in a 44 mm stainless steel case with a brushed finish, paired with a domed high-strength mineral glass crystal. The crown is neatly proportioned and signed, maintaining the clean profile of the case. On the reverse, a transparent caseback reveals the mechanical movement, further emphasizing the watch’s open-worked design language.

Powering the watch is an automatic mechanical movement by Miyota (Japan), offering a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. The watch is rated to 3 ATM water resistance, suitable for daily wear.

This piece is equipped with a grey silicone strap featuring CIGA Design’s distinctive geometric texture and quick-release spring bars, designed for comfort and ease of wear. A stainless-steel strap is also included, as originally supplied.

The watch is presented as a full set, including its original CIGA Design outer box, inner presentation packaging, instruction booklet, and warranty card. Notably, the packaging highlights the model’s Red Dot Design Award 2020 recognition, underscoring its status as an internationally awarded design piece.
